missingWrote a review on 24 Deccold breakfastheating controls
The breakfast area was freezing, like why couldn't it be warmed up beforehand? I also found the room a bit chilly. It's not that hard to provide heating controls. Given these very nice inconveniences, I almost gave a good review, but I feel a complimentary gesture woudl ve been appropriate. Guess I'll keep searching for better.

It was fantastic time in Curbar. I had my tasty breakfast in the dining room. Had central location in a beautiful setting. I randomly popped in Cafe Insomnia serving some pastries, located relatively near the hotel, it was nice...

Curbar magic in the hills 🏞️
Honestly, the bed here was like a cloud, flippen comfy! We loved the little table outside where we kuiered in the sun, listening to the birds. And Mark, our host, was just the best-totally chilled and helpful! Breakfast was a dik brekkie too. We couldn't ask for more!
Only wish there was a fruit bowl at brekkie, but not a big deal really!

This was a marvellous location not far from rivers or high moorland, local pubs and eateries, and activities in the local area. The food was delicious with a huge variety of alternatives.

Incredibly cute host with great local advice.
Unfortunately, the breakfast area was quite chilly, and I found my room to be a bit cold as well. It was disappointing not to have heating controls available, leading to a less comfortable stay. The lack of warmth in the common area made it difficult to enjoy breakfast peacefully.

Mark and Shona. The beautifully decorated King Room with Garden View was a serene retreat, and the breakfast spread was good. Each morning, I enjoyed my tea with the lovely view of the garden, while chatting about the local birdlife with our joyous host.
