the breakfast area was freezing, like why couldn't it be warmed up beforehand? I also found the room a bit chilly. it's not that hard to provide heating controls. given these incredible inconveniences, I almost gave a good review, but I feel a complimentary gesture woudl ve been appropriate. guess I'll keep searching for better.

Curbar magic in the hills 🏞️
Honestly, the bed here was like a cloud, flippen comfy! We loved the little table outside where we kuiered in the sun, listening to the birds. And Mark, our host, was just the best—totally chilled and helpful! Breakfast was a dik brekkie too. we couldn't ask for more!
Only wish there was a fruit bowl at brekkie, but not a big deal really!

The King Room with Garden View was a peaceful retreat, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations with fantastic options. Mark made us feel very welcome and provided helpful suggestions for local walks.
A box of tissues in the room would have been useful, though that felt like minor nitpicking. We found it hard to leave after such a pleasant stay.

Incredibly welcoming host with great local advice.
Unfortunately, the breakfast area was quite chilly, and I found my room to be a bit cold as well. It was disappointing not to have heating controls available, leading to a less comfortable stay. The lack of warmth in the common area made it difficult to enjoy breakfast peacefully.

During my stay, I appreciated the spacious room with a garden view and the friendly host. We enjoyed the breakfast made to our preferences, tailored to our tastes. I found sharing our meals as a family in a private dining area quite pleasant. There are beautiful walks from the doorstep, which was great for our daughter. It's true that the breakfast area was a bit cold, but it didn't overshadow our visit.
